OT - Orgeron = Chizik?

Orgeron is starting to look a lot like Chizik to me. Get that stud transfer QB (Newton/Burrow) and the stars aligned for an unbelievable run. Back to reality now?

Stud transfer? No one, and I mean no one, understood what Joe Burrow was about to become. No one.

Joe Burrow was projected preseason to be an UDFA.

And what is plaguing Orgeron right now Chizik never had to deal with — a mass exodus of almost all serviceable players year over year. NFL, Opt-outs, COVID practice reductions have probably affected LSU more than any other school.
 
The parallels are very striking. Sucks at a previous job, get a higher profile job anyway, and gets a stud OC and QB at their new job. They shock everybody by winning a national title, but fall off really badly when their QB and OC leave.

With that being said, OP, you’re probably about the 287,513th person on the internet to make this comparison.
