A lot of their stars didnt show up...thats coaching. (Dan Lanning)
 
Oregon’s last four recruiting classes ranked 13, 6, 12, and 7th in the 247 composite. Does that put them near Georgia’s league? No chance but let’s not sit here and pretend that roster needs some kind of complete overhaul. That’s a team with a ton of blue chip talent. The coaches have just been wasting it. And yes, some of that falls on the previous staff. There’s a reason why Mario only took two coaches with him to Miami. I definitely didn’t want anyone from Oregon’s staff either.

They have recruiters as Co-ordinators. I did say this would happen.

That’s a testament to Mario’s Coaching because they fundamentally are a 6 win roster by my estimation.

Before Mario was hired, there were numerous articles claiming that he was torn because he felt that the team had BCS playoff talent and didn't want to leave just before the championship run materialized. I wonder who was feeding the reporters this line?
