Exactly

Not bothered, massive learning curve. Best of luck to him...

Coming from New Zealand and being a Rugby/League guy I spent about 3 years reading Football for dummies in the mid 2000s and I still don't get some stuff.

If he's playing Rugby at a decent level, he's 100% percent a lock. That means scrummaging/ jumping in lineouts...nothing like playing RT/LT.

[miami305]

just recruit him in 2 years

[TheOriginalCane]

And you’ll never hear about this guy again

Are you on my group text? That's exactly what I said after getting the news.

Charleston is very nice.

If he is offered $1m (which I just flat out don’t believe) then I get going to USCe but man a kid who has NEVER played a snap is putting his future in a HC likely fired by midseason with arguably the SECs WORST OL lol

You’d be shocked what these guys are getting offered.

I’m not. With the right coaching, this guy can definitely make the NFL. However, I don't see him getting that with South Carolinas staff

[itsacanething]

this is one of those cases where the kid is probably smart for taking the bag - what are the chances anyone including miami makes this kid into an NFL level prospect? probably not great...smart for grabbing the bag in my opinion.

The Athletic had a Bruce Feldman piece this past week. With all the offers from the elite academic schools, I am surprised he went to South Carolina.
Not that there is anything with that school, academically, but it seems to me Nigerian kids tend to gravitate to the schools with big academic reputations.
