The hypocrisy of the ncaa when dealing with sec schools vs others like Miami and usc is ridiculous

They did this because they knew it would lead to bigger problems when you have players on record like Leo Lewis saying he got money from another school I believe LSU and didn’t even sign there in addition to ole miss.

These mfs always protecting these **** sec schools man smh

They redacted multiple schools that paid and offered him money. I believe even Miss St where he plays paid him.

Sheridan asked Lewis which schools offered money to Henderson and which schools she took money from. Lewis’ answers are all redacted...Lewis named the school, which was then redacted by the NCAA. In its August 16 letter to the COI, counsel for Ole Miss claims that the redacted institution is Mississippi State:

Goes back to my theory that the only way to end SEC protection by NCAA is by fed govt action. Prez has to get involved. What gets him involved? Getting asked by a good friend to get involved. Who is this good friend? MIKE LEACH. LEACH AS MIAMI HC

Never been more surprised about anything, really thought this was it... next time then

Ole Miss was treated pretty bad by the NCAA. They got hit harder than us and we did a lot worse.

I think the total that had to be repaid by our players amounted to $4 racks...

Can't beat them join them, some of you Bentley driving ****'s need to start dropping bags all over town.

The solution is simply get rid of the NCAA for Division I football. Let a market based solution evolve with the support and leadership of the NFL and the professional football ecosystem.

Stop the charade.

Check out Matt Corrals instagram. The kid has no job and his parents are junkies yet he is rocking a different pair of designer sneakers and clothes in every picture. Ole Miss is still giving out benefits.

Not going to argue over who did worse. I have a buddy who is an alum and well connected at Ole Miss and he laughs at what Miami did calling that amateur hour. BTW Ole Miss never stopped doing what they were doing to begin with.

They got hit harder than us (initially) because the NCAA stepped outside of their own set regulations in trying to bring down Miami.

Ole Miss was blatantly cheating and the punishment fit the crime. At Ole Miss coaches were involved. At least at Miami, Randy Shannon actually tried to keep players away from Shapiro.
