They frantically tweeted clarification that they were just referencing the title game tonight and not a new game. That doesn't really make sense based on the context and using an account that hasn't been active since before the last title game, but it is what it is.

My cousin's husband is a higher-up EA Sports/Madden. I started picking his brain one night about NCAA. He says everybody there wants to bring it back, and will AS SOON as the legal issues are cleared up! I said "so it's a question of WHEN NCAA comes back, not IF NCAA comes back?" he said "yeah".

By the way the biggest difference in Madden v NCAA is ALL the stadiums. He said that was the real challenge of that game.

I've heard that EA even offered to pay likeness rights fees to all players but the NCAA doesn't allow it. I don't see why EA can't pool all the likeness fees and once the player's eligibility is expired, cut him a check. It would have to be the exact same amount for every single player but I'm sure something like this could work.

I think it's more than that. The Madden games are just not fun. But I can still play NCAA 13 and have a blast. Dynasty mode kills all.

Very true. My current Miami dynasty is a roster full of fake players anyway. Still, I liked the idea of having the current rosters to at least start off with. Plus it's more fun when playing head to head.

That's what happens when a NCAA guy gets picked in the top 10, winds up being a bust, blows all his money, becomes a used-car salesman, and then creates a frivilous lawsuits...wins, and messes up for everyone. Hate him and the Bruins.

Can't EA just make a game that starts off with generic players but, in addition to the names on the rosters, allows people to alter both player appearance and attributes for every player in the game that can then be download by everyone else? Despite the game being discontinued for a few years, the community for the game is still thriving. The game is more playable today than ever before. The community has mastered the sliders and have been able to mod the **** out of the game with the hex editors.

They've got fully functional and upgraded 2015 rosters, too, if you want some new ****.

Game is still great.
