OT my family is now homeless

Just got word all but 2 of my family have been accounted for in the chippley, bonnifay, Destin areas. Seems just power issues, downed trees and such. Minor roof damage to a couple, but with spotty cell service, and **** near no phones to speak of, it took some work to find them all.

I donated. I realize it is not much, but best of luck with the recovery. I remember Andrew and the images show that this is the same kind of destruction in Bay County.
 
Condolences to your family canes brethren, I donated and I hope others do. Canes nation needs to take care of its own it times of need. I gave what I can.
 
I’m a lineman with At&t. We are headed down to you from Birmingham early next week to reconstruct our plant. Plenty of clean up and new poles to be set before we can get set up. I hope you and the families in your area are safe. Help is on the way bro! 🙌🏽✌🏽

I’m a single dad paying child support. But what’s happenning on the coast is unbelievable. I chipped in what I could afford right now homie. I wish nothing but the best for your family. If your at the GT game let me know, I’ll buy you a beer! 🍻

Hope know body has State Farm , lost 1/2 my house from Irma in South Florida been living in other half , working on second year of lawsuit just had impartial referee visit yesterday with SF and my adjuster from my attorney.

I feel your pain my been suffering over a a year and some months my highest recommendation from experience hire an attorney from the very start "IGNORE" everything your property insurance says , your attorney will send out they're own adjust who is on your side.

STATE FARM OR ANY INSURANCE COMPANY DOES "NOT" HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST AT HEART......THIS IS THE FIRST THING YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND.

HIRE AN ATTORNEY NOW AND SAVE EVERYTHING YOU DO , my file is 250 pieces of information long a GUESS could be way larger.

I work in the field and State Farm is an absolute nightmare to deal with on claims. Good luck man.

Thank you for your concern , these poor people really have no idea how tough there next 2 plus years will be with State Farm. Imagine how I feel and others feel watching those SF commercials on college football games of there BS .

Example : they SF put my family up in a hotel due to damage and my wifes chronic asthma and (5) days later kicked us out saying they paid enough and WANTED there money BACK also and we went home to find the SEWER back up in our house and SF wouldn't help in any way to clean up with those cleaning companies we / I did it our selves with masks and an old man plumber who came by to helps us out.

38 YEARS customer in good standing paid each quarter in person to SF on Coral Way ZERO CLAIMS.......

GET AN ATTORNEY...............................PERIOD

Not true.

Your Homeowners policy should have a "Loss of Use" rider. This rider comes into play if your house is uninhabitable. Typically "Loss of Use" will be set at 10% of your dwelling coverage. Take pictures of your home and send to the insurance company ASAP.

SPOT ON , no doubt..

The ladies in the SF office we paid for 38 years , they dropped her a couple hurricane seasons ago just to show everyone here what there in for.

SF does NOT have anyone's best interest at heart even there employees who did claims......

IGNORE ALL THOSE SF COMMERCIALS WATCH THOSE PEOPLE IN THE PANHANDLE........SHEEP FOR SLAUGHTER SO SO SAID TO SAY.......

I WON'T BE , HOPE THEY HEED MY WARNING.
