Remember in 2017 how everyone enjoyed the absolute dumpster fire that was Tennessee’s coaching search? Well I think we have found a new coaching search dumpster fire this year.

Mississippi State fires Joe Moorhead 3 days ago. The assumption was that Louisiana’s coach Billy Napier would be the head coach at Mississippi State. Well that was until Napier came out and said he would not accept the MSU job if offered. Then the attention turned to Gene Chizik and now Chizik interviewed for the job then said no thanks the next day according to Bruce Feldman.

Now it looks like Patriots special teams coordinator Joe Judge is the favorite. He has 0 offensive or defensive coordinator experience.

Thought we could all laugh at a bizarre search during the off-season

Chizik and Napier might say they’re removing themselves from consideration when it’s really MSU that removed them from consideration.

Joe is good people and a **** good coach. He has learned a ton from the 2 control freaks BB and Saban. I know he doesn’t have any coordinator experience but it’s Mississippi State, at this point they won’t get better than him. I think he would put a **** good staff together too. It won’t be better than what Lane has done up the road though now that I think about it so yeah don’t do it Joe lol.

Joe Judge would be an absolute coup.

He’s also interviewing for the Giants HC job.

Guys don’t necessarily have to be OC’s or DC’s to be successful.

John Harbaugh was a ST coordinator, and even though I think he’s overrated, he’s won a Super Bowl.

At least they had a search

At least a few coaches turned them down unlike someone we know who within a 1/2 hour hired a film cutter with an office located in Chuck Amato’s broom closet.

And Mike Tomlin, right? Brian Flores wasn’t technically a coordinator either.

There is a guy by the name of John Harbaugh that says hello, what did he ever coordinate? Some of you dudes are so fixated on **** that just doesn't really matter in the end.

I rather have their head coaching situation than ours!

Tough place to win big. They have to jump LSU, Bama, Auburn, and Texas A&M. Can see top coaches thinking wait for an opportunity with a more clear path to success.
