Not saying you can't be a good dad and be divorced or separated as long as you still are involved with your kids. It's just that the percentage of incarcerated black young men with absent fathers tells you it's not the norm. And it seems to be acknowledged among black civic leaders that this is an issue:

"Years ago, I interviewed Kweisi Mfume, then the president of the NAACP. "As between the presence of white racism and the absence of black fathers," I asked, "Which poses the bigger threat to the black community?" Without missing a beat, he said, "The absence of black fathers."

And let me add that it is also an issue among white criminals too, not just blacks. Having dads around matters.

Take personal responsibility. All Red States need to put more in the pot than they take out. All the “Liberal” states that they constantly complain about should no longer need to carry these Welfare states.


Let’s start with places like Kentucky, Mississippi, WV. Let the people of Kentucky pay their own way until they can figure out that Moscow Mitch doesn’t care about the average poor white family. The numbers there speak for themselves. They won’t ever take responsibility until they have to carry their own weight.

Could you please provide me with a list of cities(preferably not some schithole in Alabama or a similar state) where the cops aren't getting involved in anything? I would love to purchase a house in one of these locations. I have been back and forth between LA and NYC during the past few months and the exact opposite is happening here. This is the most police activity I have seen in the lower income neighborhoods since the early 2000s. It looks like the protests have bolstered their confidence, since now they know, even with massive riots, they are mostly untouchable.
