OT LSU expecting to Hire Brian Kelly

Understood @Rellyrell, I agree with you, but I would LOVE for Miami to pick up another OC and get rid of Gattis..... and also hire Raymond for DB's and co-D coordinator.... would that work??? Asking for a couple of friends....:05.18-flustered::05.18-flustered:

True. But tbh our team been hammered by injuries so I don’t thinks it’s apples too apples. The disheartening thing about this season for me is we likely won’t the team improve all that much on the field due to that. I hope I’m wrong

Everywhere Kelly has been at any level he’s been a really good coach and program builder. Despite Heupel catching fire this year he has to be top 2-3 in the SEC and top 10 in the country now as a coach. If you go by the last 10-15 years, he’s possibly a top 5 overall coach in cfb.

Missing RG due to folks playing out of position
Missing top WR
Missing Top TE (imo)
Now missing TVD

So I’d go injuries, Talent , and coaches/player adjustments to a new system

If you had to rank the top coaches I would put:

Saban
Swinney
Day
Smart
Riley
Kelly

i think those 6 are above the rest.

Now in the past 4 years #7 in winning percentage behind this group of 6 would be our very own Mario Cristobal.

Now I am not ranking Mario as a top 10 or 15 HC, but he is better than what most on this board think at this moment.

Harbaugh could probably be lumped into this group above now.

Back to Kelly, he has always won, and will win big at LSU. A place where he can get more talent and athleticism than at Notre Dame.
