OT LSU expecting to Hire Brian Kelly

He’s gone. Four letter network reporting Kelly to LSU. Smart move on the Tiger's part. What has been a dysfunctional organization will be much better run. That alone should notch them a couple of more victories each year.

I told y’all the situation comes along and bam coach gone. I told y’all we should be hitting up coaches to see if they ready to change situations smh. When will we learn to stop throwing all our eggs in one basket and really see who’s out there wanna bring the U back
Bro..we don’t have a AD..Blake James took his pro-folio of candidates with him.

In all seriousness you think Kelly or Riley getting into any discussions with a school who doesn’t have a AD?

I agree but I still stand on what I said. I’m not mentioning an AD just coaches I would love to come here if our situation was different with an AD

It's not likely, but ND has an outside shot at the playoff. Are you telling me he's already left the program and won't coach in the bowl?

Kelly is an elite coach but is it a good fit? His new home in the swamp filled with rednecks, inbreds, and low IQ southerners is a complete 180 from South Bend.

This is Kelly’s MO. If I remember right, he bailed on U of Cincy during their best season ever, took the ND job, and didn’t coach Cincy when they had made their first and only New Years six bowl game.

The "fit" stuff is overrated. Miles wasn't a fit there either. I can name 100 more examples but you can coach you can coach. He will need to keep some of that stuff to help him adjust, and if he can bring Freeman then that would be a home run. His offense is a little boring/sluggish but they recruit well enough up front to make it work.

Poor Napier, LSU will have the drop on them as long as Kelly is there. He will get legit QBs there too and do work with the Nussmeier kid that they have on campus.

It's not a bad MO to be honest. It's a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately business and better to leave on top. Who has better negotiating leverage right now; Kelly who has a program current clicking or someone that overstayed their welcome like a Dan Mullen? If ND cared and wanted to lock in their coach, they could pony up the cash. That school pulls tremendous money. I don't blame Kelly for constantly seeking better opportunity throughout his coaching career. It's what successful people do to move up.
