Have another ho-ho.What a tragedy for such a young man. Condolences to him and his family.
There was a seminal autopsy study done during/after the Korean War which showed the unbelievable prevalence of heart disease in relatively young American males. Basically, any American male walking around, even at the younger ages, has some form of heart disease. Still holds true today. If you have obesity, the risk is increased multiple times. It’s not unheard of for 30-something-year-olds to drop dead from heart disease/heart attacks.
Pretty much everyone reading this right now has at least some form of arthrosclerosis.
In the neighborhood of 1 million people or more die of heart disease and stroke every year.
Many more are disabled.

I believe autopsies done on children (for whatever tragic passing modality) this last decade are already showing alarming signs of moderate heart disease in increasing numbers for ages of 10 and earlier.
Here is some light reading...especially for the crowd* who likes to throw around the "morbidly obese" label...
