Eli Rogers just made a catch in an nfl game for the steelers..and i shed a tear. A former Liberty city kid...who we dropped went to Louisville and made it to the league...Big timer.

I didn't know we dropped him. I thought he and Teddy Bridgewater decommitted once Shannon was fired. I could be wrong either way I'm happy for him.

Go Bulls!

My NFL team is the Ravens, but I was still happy for the kid. Eli, Artie & Antonio putting on for the city.

We didn't drop him. He dropped us.

That's the class between Shannon and Golden where Golden had like 4 commits when he rolled into town. Several decommits in that class, he was one of them.

Where do people come up with these urban fairy tales?

was dropped...but him and Teddy were close..he lived with him for a time..cause his mother has AIDS..and it was a tough situation at home in Brown Subs.

Makes very little sense that anyone would get dropped in a class that small. Who dropped him randy or al?

He was a package with Teddy...once Fat Al came on he re recruited Teddy B..im not sure if he tried to re recruit Eli Rodgers. Either way he was going wherever Teddy was going.

Technically he decommitted in the time being between the coaching change with Teddy..but they didnt attempt to re recruit him like they did Teddy.

But whatever makes yall feel better..that dude just scored a td...and Tommy Streeter is drinking canadian lager..and aldarius johnson is training fat girls in waist shapers.

Antonio Brown is the local kid who shoulda been at the U we need to be talking bout.

Unquestionably the best WR in football.

A buddy of mine is a big Steeler fan and he has been raving about him all camp.
He says the coaches love him as well.

Wasn't he involved with some malfeasance while with the 7v7 team was at LSU?
I vaguely remembered something happened with stuff getting stolen from LSU
football lockers, and the team he was on being implicated and told to go home.
Apologies to Rogers if he wasn't involved in that incident.

He went to Norland...and...

Coming out of high school, Brown applied to Florida State University. His admission would be denied over academic concerns.[4] After attempting to attend Alcorn State, he decided to enroll at North Carolina Tech. Once he finished his season playing quarterback at North Carolina, he received a scholarship to play at Florida International University but was expelled before the season for an altercation with security.[5] Antonio Brown then began reaching out to Coach Butch Jones of West Virginia , since he was highly recruited by him. After learning that Jones had left West Virginia, Brown began attending Central Michigan, where he was a walk-on freshman.

Antonio Brown ended up at CENTRAL MICHIGAN. He didn't get an offer from any of the Big 3, was allegedly denied admission to FSU as a walk-on, due to his academics being a greasefire, and then followed Butch Jones to CMU, where he was a walkon until he earned a scholarship. If Miami would have signed Brown, knowing what we knew then, this fanbase would have been up in arms. This school can't take every kid in this part of the state. Yes, he's blown up, but no one knew that at the time. He was a young man who played QB at the high school level, but didn't have the arm strength to play at the next level. Athletic, but undersized, and raw. Why would Miami take that kind of player coming out of high school?

Dude was a beast in high school...He was pretty much Trayone Gray (Grade issues too), except a better runner, and faster.
