OT: Les Miles to Kansas

The middle part of the decade saw offenses in the SEC become more exotic, which led to the end of the Miles era in Baton Rouge. Instead of adapting with the times, the Miles chose to play a more conservative brand of football that didn't use spread principles and tempo to move up and down the field. That ultimately led to him fighting for his job at the end of the 2015 season, and being fired for good in late September 2016.
Sound familiar?

Lived in Baton Rouge for 10 years and many were during the Miles era. Toxicity reached or surpassed what we are dealing with now, especially with the offensive woes and lack of QB development.

Not saying our situation is great but yeah I don’t know why the media is hyping him up becuase he was struggling like a mf before

It's a nice cushy job for Miles, the expectations are so low for Kansas that all he has to do is win 5/6 games a year & he'll be celebrated during his tenure.

He'll never be a contender in the Big XII though, most he can do is be slightly better than KState once Snyder finally retires & with Matt Campbell eventually leaving for a better gig possibly take Iowa St's spot in the conference.

There's also rumors he may be trying to hire Graham Harrell from North Texas to be his OC, the young former TTech QB Leach disciple that has North Texas as one of the top passing offenses in college right now.
