OT - Lashlee vs. Tulane

Tulane had a walk on named Chadwick Bailey playing LB at the end. It was 49-7 when the starters came out.

Tulane doesn't use the option at all. They used it Fritz' first 2-3 years when they didn't have a good QB. Now they run a normal offense.

The run a ton of read option. They just don’t use triple option formations like the service academies.

Who was playing linebacker for FSU when they were up 40 and Gattis still couldn’t get any points on the board?

Kids got some juice. Solid Leader & Most importantly makes sound decisions with the ball.

Teammates will go to war with this dude. You can tell just from the reaction to him getting whopped while scoring his final touch. Oline wasn’t having it.

I know exactly what they run. I watch as much Tulane as Miami. I'm a Tulane alum. Read option is not triple option, which Fritz ran at GSU and ran his first year at Tulane. It's also not spread option, which Fritz ran his 2nd and 3rd years at Tulane.

Cool. Now re-read my original post and tell me where I said they were still running the triple option.

Zone read, or read option is a huge part of a spread option offense.
