OT - Lashlee vs. Tulane

From Boca but played at Deerfield. Another homeschooled kid from Boca balling, ala Diego ***ot.

Yes, I know. Went to Deerfield his senior year, as did one of Tulane's WR, Dea Dea McDougle. Tulane also has a DB from Killian T.J. Huggins, LB from Champagnat Jesus Machado, WR from Northwestern Jalen Rogers and QB from Gullier, Carson Haggard.

Tulane is a really good G5 team this yr. They put the fear of God in OU last yr, 1st game of the season, but was a woeful 2-10. Talk about a crazy turn around!

And these WRs w/ drops for SMU!? Sheesh.

Tulane's season was messed up last year by three things. First the hurricane displaced them for the first month of the season and they never mentally recovered, second Pratt played injured all year, and their RB, Spears who went over 1,000 yards tonight, only really played healthy the second half of the season.

I recall We recruited Machado early then slow played him then tried “Hey Big Head” him late

It’s sad that even when SMU gets blown out, they still scored more than Gattis’ offense against Virginia and FSU combined.

Fritz is a good Corch. Taken them to multiple bowl games. Curious what he could do at a higher level. Definite connection btw SoFla & Tulane/NOLA as it relates to the recruiting trail. Used to fly back & forth btw MIA & NOLA every few weeks, a few years ago & it was always packed with Tulane CoEds.

I’m curious because he’s had a ton of small school success. He ran the triple option at Georgia Southern and he’s updated his offense at Tulane to where they still use a lot of option elements but aren’t so one dimensional.
