Some people would've bolted, worried the car would explode, worry about burns, etc. I don't believe in the god angle as if there was one, he shouldn't have put those men in harms way. Irregardless, some heroes showed up last night. Fantastic story of true courage.

Out of every hundred everyday people, when a life-threatening situation suddenly manifests - 99 will somewhat choke. Lock up. Freeze. They've never seen what they're looking at, can't analyze the situation variables in an instant, make an informed risk assessment, and then jump to alter the certain end event if nothing is done.

But the ONE. They jump. And when they do - that alone at times will be enough - but it will frequently trigger others to also jump in to assist. They just needed someone else to "show" them what must be done - and done quickly.

KJ Osborn is one of the hundred. Quick witted, capable, and determined.

We're blessed for folks like him.
