Only lottery pick I know Riley screwed up was taking Beasley over Westbrook or Love.

No money. Too much tied into average players. Best bet is a sign and trade for Butler which doesn't really make them contenders since they will probably have to part with some of their better young guys to get him. I guess they could trade for Butler and wait until next year when Whiteside and Dragic come off the books to add a second star.

Staying at GS would have done nothing for his legacy. His championships would be looked at as discount ships. Winning with Brooklyn changes the narrative for KD's legacy. Even with Kyrie on board it wouldn't affect him since Kyrie is looked as a 2nd wheel.

Butler for Richardson. Like Richardson but Butler is an upgrade. If Miami can add a second star next summer they might be able to make some noise again.

Seems like a desperate move to me , I think Steph/Dlo can gel , but throwing in Klay off an ACL weird mix. I think they’ll have too many holes on their roster.

They weren't getting anyone else, maybe try to resign Boogie but he never really fit their style of play even when he was healthy. And he looks like the shell of his former self right now. Russell is only 23 and a good player. Hard not to be desperate when you lose a guy like KD. Lol

Agree on boogie for sure, i like Russell’s game just feel they could’ve acquired some other pieces, don’t know how he fits or if he really improves them I see them in the 3-6 seed range. They have perimeter defender issues, big issues, depth issues.. I guess we’ll see it how shakes.

I agree, their time as the top dog is over but they can still be competitive and will be a tough out in the Western playoffs with their experience.

Nets,Knicks are like the cubs and red Sox before 2000 fans did everything imaginable to break the championship hexs.what's his legacy going be then when golden state is still competing and winning championships without him.and he doesn't win one for the nets.kd will have the same problem with Irving that he had with Westbrook in okc.
 
I literally wanr the knicks to keep landing lottery picks till it works. Fuq these guys that were in the league for 30 years already. Keep RJ and maybe Zion be the only guy i go after cause there best friends. Build through the draft and fire Dolan
