OT: Jimmy Buckets to the Heat

Even better. We didn’t lose Dragic, Olynk and Jones Jr. down side is now there’s probably no money for Beal. Yet I still think Dragic is still on the table for someone to take.

Dragic confirmed headed to Dallas

Edit* Now reports Dragic is staying and Olynk and Jones Jr headed to Dallas. Weird they announced Dragic was gone. Heat still have to shed more payroll to take this trade work.

Got it. People can become fans however the **** you want, in my opinion. I was just wondering how that happened with you. I am a Chicago Bulls fan because of Jordan (though they weren't winning 'ships when I became a fan) and also because the Heat franchise had just started down here, but I remained a Chicago Bulls fan when he retired/left. Basically, I enjoyed his time there and have now been in misery for 21 years. Add that to being a Phins fan and a Canes fan and sometimes I wonder why I picked this as a hobby. Everything sucks.
 
Whether you like Jimmy Butler or not. The HEAT had to make this move. The luster of those championship rings was wearing off. And the team still had a bad rap of not wanting to pay elite players since the Dwade leaving thing.

This move brings respect and credibility back to franchise as a place where top tier nba players want to play. Now with an actual piece like Jimmy Butler the Heat can focus on building a real team.

**** I don’t even know a lot of the new Yankees from the past year of so with a lot of new faces emerging lol..been a ten year drought. Yankees and the canes are the only teams I can have a emotional attachment men too..but **** idk I would’ve dropped the phins a long time ago lol..at least you had the promise of rose, boozer deng, and butler

Jimmy Butler is not a top tier nba player. He’s a 3rd tier star.

No, the Heat did not have to make this move. The smart move would have been to wait it out. Go through the season of **** while continuing to develop our young core. Dragic, Whiteside, Johnson, and Waiters all come off the books next season. That would clear the way to acquire two max players while keeping Richarson at a value rate. Acquiring Butler leaves room for only one max player next off-season and no Richardson. The Heat were desperate for a star and paid the price for being desperate. Butler = Good player, not star player in my opinion.
 
Trade still getting sorted out. But it looks like it’s going to work out either way.This guy has been spot on throughout everything Miami heat related news too.

Only Whiteside and Goran come off at the end of 19. Johnson has a player option and with his age and decking performance he will certainly accept it and Waiters has 2 full years left on this deal. If all the heat gave up was Jrich this a no brainer.

Ppl keep saying develop it’s the NBA. It doesn’t take long to assert yourself as an all star in the league if u have the game. J Rich and Justise will never be those guys. Look around the league at the young talent for example Trea young, Donovan Mitchell, Tatum, brogdan, Simmons, **** look at D. booker who was on Justises class. All those guys have flashed without needing 5+ years of development. It didn’t take d wade to 5 years to make an impact in the league.

This move was needed to attract a star player when we do have the space. With tried to sign Durant and Haywood with no one on the roster it didn’t work.

I’ll play your game, how many playoff series or even playoff games won for your tier 1 and tier 2 guys Kat and AD?

Those dudes are soft in the head and everyone knows it and that is why with all their talent they can’t carry their teams the way Dame can.

I’m not saying Butler is a top tier guy. If you are the Miami Heat and you refuse to tank YOU have to make this move.

This team was going no where and had no credibility.

And no one outside of Miami thinks J rich or Winslow is good. They marginal role players at best.

So..your under the delusion that Jimmy Butler is better than kat and AD..because of TEAM RESULTS..AD Is a top 5 player & and Kat is the best unknown secret to casual fans in the league and is like 25..a player making a playoff appearance or advancing doesn’t make him better..Kilmer Butler for instance was on the same team as Kat. That team struggled with him so much they traded him and kept kat..and lastly nobody outside of some delusional heat fans think annually being a 4th or 5 seed with a 30 year old maxed out Jimmy Butler is good lol..there’s not much difference between the 6-8 spot in the east and being a 4th or 5th seed at best..the best option would’ve have been save the money, wait for contracts to expire or manually create more cap space and wait it out..or **** do both and tank
