Hip hop geeks act like every single song needs to have mind blowing substance.
So WTF were we supposed to dance to in clubs? Wu Tang? GTFOH

I remember going to a club in NY back in 2000. Weakest **** EVER.

You must be going to some bum *** clubs in NY then. I been to all the best clubs in NYC and Miami. Miami has very good clubs. Not going to even try and front. I love going down there for vacation, but NYC is a little better.

$h!t goes in cycles Bro, but y'all done fell off.

I'm not saying we still are on the same level as we used to be, but we still are way above the 305. Who does the 305 have besides Rick Ross? Nobody. NYC may not have any knew people on the radio getting tons of spins, but we still have a lot of guys that are touring across the country and getting tons of streams like Dave East and when Shmurda comes home he will take off again.

This was in 2000. Back when hip hop still had regional genres and all of the artists didn't sound the same.

**** was very wack compared to what I was used to down here.

Now we're talking. JPE. Back when the Canes were the Canes. sigh

I would buy one of those old JPE slow jam tapes today.

While we're at it, shout out to Michael Sterling.

Ya, you went to a wack club. Obviously its going to be opinion based. I am sure you can find someone that thinks Oklahoma has better clubs than Miami and NYC, but we are talking about average. People go to Miami because its warm in the winter when its cold up here not because the clubs are better lmao. That said more people around the world still fly to NYC than they do to Miami and its not even close. NYC is considered the greatest city in the world.

You realize the southern rappers are the ones that made all rap sound the same right?

Rick Ross is trash. The guy is a confirmed corrections officer lmao. He barely gets any radio play outside of Florida.

People aren't visiting NYC because it's a party mecca. When people want to have a good time, they come to Miami.

And spare me with that other noise. CO or not, Ross is far from trash. That's just your regional bias speaking, which has always been an issue with NY dudes. NY people think anything not from NY is trash. NY people are some of biggest haters on the entire planet.
