A couple of caveats...

---do you have your alumnus "Cane Card"?
---not sure if you need to register with the Wellness Center
---not sure if they have yet started on any field renovations, it's my understanding that Cobb Field (track) would be moved next to the Music School to make way for Greentree shift and IPF expansion


I posted on the Baseball board, this is going on right now, converting to artificial turf:

It had artificial turf when I attended Ron Fraser’s baseball camp back in the day 79 ish. Was 13 and Getting fungo hit to you on the turf was like trying to field super balls. Lol. Remember working out on the blue Nautilus machines while the football team was working out too. Cool times.

It was actually the start of the golden era when golden got permission to take over the upstairs basketball courts whenever he wanted. When it was raining it was cool but golden took it up for the team on zero notice early on a few weekends that wrecked our pickup basketball plans. I asked norm if they could post with some lead time and he basically said deal with it.

we play flag football every thanksgiving and christmas eve and we are looking for a new place to play.

i was told that the intramural fields are open to anyone (i am an alum). is this true? does someone have a contact at the U that can verify?

that was because he was essentially told that he had zero choice in the matter. it ****ed him off to no end when that happened. you might have been unfortunate to catch him on a bad day.
