OT: If You Could Party With One Sports Team In History...

Your Wrong again...Barnett was the opposite Guard for Ring 1....Pearl for Ring 2....The 69 Amazing Mets were Waayyyyyyy More popular than the Jets...Please run along...You cant tell me about NY Sports History....
Actually I can And I did....my point is made....Namath more popular than Clyde...
Also I stated WHEN Pearl got to NY he became more popular...so obviously I know he was from ring 2....and Ring 1...Willis Reed was more Popular and reason they won the title.

No Willis was NEVER more popular...Why??...because he came back from the Injury??...Lol....Clyde IS the reason for Ring 2....Hence MVP....Clyde was the NBAs Best Defensive Guard from 69-73...All Pearl did was shake and bake....My Dad had season Tickets to Knicks from 66-72 (even when Cazzie Russell was there)..and A Mets season Ticket holder from 68-73...I was at the 69 World Series...and also at the 69 NBA Championship....There was NEVER in NYC History ANYTHING Like the 69 Mets Ticker Tape Parade....NOTHING....

What???? Lmao....Willis Reed was the 1970 and 73 Finals MVP....not Clyde lmao.
My fams had season tix as well and talk about it frequently.... Clyde was NOT Finals MVP...
Anyways...my point was made...Namath was and is bigger than clyde.
Stop bro.

Every Kid wanted Puma Clydes...Not Pantyhose....Namath Won ONE Lucky *** ring..(Emerson Boozer...and Maynard were as Valuable as Namath)...His overrated *** never did ANYTHING after that, except throw INTs....look at his Win vs Loss percentage....Lol....

Well he wasnt MVP as you stated 2 times. Namath was the Man. Stop hating. That era of football was different...and he played at Shea which was notorious for horrible wind and weather.
But from 1965 to 1974 he was among the top three quarterbacks in the game. Take a look at the stats of all quarterbacks over that ten-year period who attempted at least 1500 passes.
And he delivered on a Guarantee in front of all the press and world to see. And being the biggest undergog in history
He was the original OG with Swag.

That's a wrap....the end...

Mic drop...

Told you what I meant...meaning...Clyde was more Valuble than anyone during both Championships....Without his Game 7 heroics...Knicks Lose...Stop it....Willis ONLY Won the 1st MVP because he came out limping which enlightened the Garden...Bottomline is....Namath was Garbage except for a Lucky *** SuperBowl...when in all actuality it was Maynard and Boozer who should get the credit....

Namath....64-64 and 4 ties in career...LoL
173 TDs....220 INTs....LoL

NOT true....Bro....Namath was big time bro. And to say that they were lucky in Super bowl is BS and you know it. Namath called the plays and made many audibles at the line when he saw Colts formations. From 65-74 he was a top 3 QB and the first to throw for 4,000 yards. The next Qb to throw for over 4,000 was like 15 years later. Thats being a boss bro.
We can agree to disagree but we still good bro.

Clyde Frazier...
7 X All Star
2 Time NBA Champion
7 X NBA 1st Team
NBA/ABA All Star MVP 1971
NBA All Star MVP 1975......

Bro...you know it was a different era....all the qbs had high INts due to the rules or lack thereof.
I said before he was a top 3 QB from that decade.
I havent even talked about his notoriously horrible knees and that is what people also talk about.
All the QBs from late 70s and 80s Wanted to be Namath.
As a pure vertical passer, try timing a pass in that environment of no rules for DBs. The rules have changed over the years to make the game more pass happy.
Joe called his own plays. No real time video with Offensive coordinators analyzing during the game, no real time info like today. His 4007 yards is amazing in 14 game season. It was not broken until we had rule changes and high tech enter the game and that was a decade and a half later...in a 16 game season...
Come on bro....

I do not care if he threw for 20,000yds in a season....64-64-4 ties....173 TDs 220 INTs are NOT HOF Worthy stats in ANY era....

You are hopeless and ridiculous....you are just being a hater....He did more than any other player to make the merger between the AFL&NFL happen. Without a strong NY AFL team, and Namath's charisma and rifle arm the AFL would have failed.
He helped make the Super Bowl what it is today. The Super Bowl never even sold out in It's previous years. You can also make a case for him being partly responsible for the NFL taking over as our nations number one sport, overtaking baseball in the late 60's while Namath was getting world wide notoriety.
Ask anyone about that and they will tell you the same. There are NFL programs and documentaries as well as tons of books regarding this fact.

A Rifle Arm that threw more INTs than TDs...
A Rifle Arm that was 64-64 isn't one bit impressive to me...
