OT If Jets get first pick

USC = QB Bust U.
Truth. Carlson Palmer has a nice career, marred by injury, but Leinhart, Barkley, and Darnold all busted. Darnold still have a chance if he can get away from the Jets and into a team with organization. Would be a nice pickup for the Steelers, if he can recover and back up Big Ben for a few seasons. Not sure on Ben has much left if the tank though.

Unless they clean house and create a solid organization with a top GM and HC Lawrence should definitely pull an Elway or Eli if the Jets have the #1 pick. Atlanta is not as bad as their record, and he’d have solid WRs to throw to. A great one in Julio Jones.

2020 is Tank 4 Trevor year.
Then he decides to come back... Hey, can't he actually come back in 2022 as well since this year is a freebie? I get confused with Clemson players as they never seem to leave.

They trade down for more picks and take ETN. I don’t think Darnold is better than Lawrence but he’s in desperate need for some playmakers and linemen. Agree or Disagree
They would 100% take Trevor Lawrence and it wouldn't even be a little secret.

yea but he'll have to weight the $$$$$ factor against having an injury after staying and getting $$$... plus imo he'll be a fully matured college product for the draft in 2021.

Carson Palmer was a good Pro QB.
He was overrated.

92-88 career win/loss record, 1-3 in the playoffs where he threw for 5TD's & 7INT's in 4 games.

Never lead a team any further than the wildcard round & only played well on teams that had multiple All-Pro WR's.

To be a #1 pick, he pretty much okay for most of his career.

Does the big boy do a Brady?

The dolphins should trade both of their 1st round picks and tua for the number one pick and get Lawrence

Lawrence. He’s the guy. Send Darnold to the Skins.

He played on average teams, and suffered two serious injuries, knee and elbow. For the #1 overall pick he should he labeled a disappointment, to be honest, but I’ll give him some slack due to the injuries. He seemed on the verge of being special before then, and had a few solid-to-good seasons at Arizona before retiring.

Definitely not the busts Leinhart and Sanchez (forgot his sorry ***) were. Barkley was a 4th rounder, so expectations are lower.

Gotta see more from Darnold.

Trade down and pick 3 consecutive offensive lineman.

Then draft a decent back in the 3rd. Pick up another experienced RB in free agency.
I've got to see more from Lawrence tbh.

You're taking him on potential. Whenever I watch him play for Clemson 80% of his completions are on easy passes. I don't know if he can read a defence. I don't know if he can consistently make difficult, NFL, throws.

Why attempt a difficult throw when an easy one is staring you in the face. That's what the pros with the highest completion percentages do. If anything, that's an indication that you can read a defense.
