Weak shortsighted guys like you and Booch didn’t trust Booch’s ability to last here. He hedged his bets. If he had any self-confidence and loyalty, he’d have realized that had he started winning big here for an extended time he’d be in Sabag territory by now salary wise. He would have been making $7M per year here for the last few years and $5M before that.

Unfortunately, he was a short money loser and jumped at the first chance he had with a **** organization in a league where the shelf life for a HC is about 3 years. Had he stayed here and won, he would have been way ahead of where he wound up from a monetary standpoint.

More proof UM's admin was super cheap and super short-sighted with respect to Butch's contract negotiations. One of the worst decisions in CFB history. We've paid a heavy price for 15 years as fans for that cheapness. The school has lost countless millions of incremental revenue. This was a prime example of being penny-wise and pound foolish!

You’ve got a steaming pile of Booch’s old man Metamucil **** in your skull. When he quit here, he was one of the best paid HCs in college football despite all of his whining and crying. He was an 8 or 9 win per year coach and got paid like a top 15 guy.

You mongoloids are frozen in 2000 and think the money he was making then was rubbish or that it was the same he’d be making now. We’ve always paid HCs commensurately here, mongoloid. We’ve paid them much higher than the results they’ve delivered. Now, argue that, bozo.

Everyone from the BOT to Paul Dee to the fans knew that.

The money had been agreed on. He told a BOT on the flight home from the Sugar Bowl he was going to stay. But he didn't sign because of the buyout amount, knowing full well he was going to bolt sooner than later.

Anyone saying anything to the contrary is revising history even more than Butch has over the years.
