OT- Game Day Arrives at UCF

Look, i like UCF, i was excited how much they were coming up. My brother is a knight alumnus and i was all for their rise. But then their fans (like you) got completely brainwashed on the koolaid and started runnin their yap about how they were gods gift to football and they couldnt be beat and raised championship banners and all that bull-ha-ha. When the reality is even that 2017 team if they had played a schedule like LSU's this season would be lucky to be .500. Excuse me if Im not blown away by wins over the likes of Memphis and tulane and cincy.

This bull**** narrative that they are so amazing because they have won 20+ in a row simply falls of deaf ears to anyone who understands the sport. Sure they did, and cool, slap em a 5 for it. But dont come out spitting that trite **** that they are some force to be recognized in cfb. Hawaii did the same **** with tommy chang and got *** raped by uga when they finally played competiton.

It DOES matter who you play, bro. Otherwise, why play anyone at all?!? Like i said, half the top 25 if not more would run the same schedule the knights did over the last 2 years.

Tell em to man up and play some real teams like houston did a few years back with games vs OU and win out, and THEN if they are undefeated Ill be **** impressed (and btw, that houston team would have made the playoff if they had won out, so spare me the narrative that no G5 team can make it in the current system... but of course UH didnt win out, in fact they lost 2 including a loss to navy). Til then, **** off UCF! Enjoy your little moment. You are the MGK to Em.

Sure, at this very present moment, UCF is better than all of the Big 3. That's likely not going to last much longer. This is a program that not too long ago literally lost every single game in one season. That's hard to do.

UCF, for all their wins, is still out of the CFP Top Ten, let alone the top 4 or 6. Their defense is as suspect as Flake James.

The only reason Gameday is there is because the SEC is on "opportunity wEAk" and the 'ND/Cuse game is a Yankee Stadium promotion NBC pretty much owns.
 
We have two threads on the front page about ucf. God **** this is pathetic!! Nobody gives a **** about ucf!

For-the-U, I have one question for you, do you actually call people who disagree with you dumbfvcks in person or just behind a keyboard trying to be a tough guy? IMHO, you totally ignore the fact that the 'Cane fans of the 80's were brutal, yet you condem UCF fans for the exact same thing. Hey, if we were in the same situation now as UCF, we would be acting just like them or probably worse. Again, you and Mrs. "doublecane" have a good Thanksgiving and give thanks that we live in America & have the freedom to express our personal opinions. BTW, I am not a guy but an old female whose late husband played football for the 'Canes from 1957-61, and whose son played for UCF in the 80's - recruited by Coach Lou Saban (Yea, there is my connection) and now whose grandson attends FAU. I rooted for the 'Canes when they played UCF as my Cane roots are much deeper.

I'm never the one to initiate personal attacks whether online or in real life. It didn't go that direction until you decided to take a jab and call me a bandwagon fan with no connection to the school even though you know nothing about me. Regardless, I don't come to this form to argue with people either. My apologies for the hostilities last night.

Back to the topic, again, I am well aware of the reputation of our fans in the eighties and nineties. But you continue to equate that to modern UCF failing to factor in the critical difference that UCF hasn't achieved the things Miami did during that run. In fact, not even in the same universe. I don't have an issue with fans being arrogant and ****y when it is warranted. Right now fans of Alabama are allowed to run their mouth as much as they want. They've earned it. My disdain for UCF fans comes from the fact they act this way when they haven't even remotely achieved accomplishments of that caliber. That is my whole point and why I continue to say the comparison to Miami during our heyday makes no sense whatsoever.

But whatever, we've more than exhausted this topic. My apologies again for being hostile last night.

Im from Miami and have lived in Cali for 30 years. Rooting for UCF and USF is not disgraceful. Why the **** would I pull for Cincinnati over UCF tonight? Thats ******* stupid.
 

For_the-U, apology accepted & one extended to you for even thinking you were a bandwagon fan. As you continue to post on a 'Cane forum after we racked up 4 losses (and have not faded into the woodwork never to be heard from) proves that you are indeed not a bandwagoner fan. At least we looked like we had a pulse today.
