Body found on beach identified as missing former WWE star Shad Gaspard

A body that was found washed ashore on Venice Beach early Wednesday morning has been identified as missing WWE star Shad Gaspard, who was swept out to sea after being caught in a rip current Sunday.

Dude is going to be missed and everyone that’s ever had contact w him either personally or as a fan all have said he was a great guy. He had a role on this skit I watch on YouTube as this jealous boyfriend that wreaks havoc on anyone that even cough towards his gf way, who’s a huge flirt. The mug was hi-larious and the bloopers even funnier.

Sad way to go, but in his son’s eyes he’s died a hero. Smh....#gonetoosoon

Yup. He was no stranger to being a hero. Died to ultimate father in my eyes. Most ppl wouldn't do what they did whether it be their kids, significant other, etc.

The rip currents down here have been really bad the last few years. Any lifeguards/firefighters on here care to confirm.
Idk if it’s climate change or the **** beach erosion projects and all that sand they keep piling on shore.
But some areas in Ft. Lauderdale beach are brutal.
