I heard he was doing well in the summer but he got hurt early on in camp and played with it a bit and struggled some before knowing the extent and being told to shut it down for a month or so. He’s working towards an mba so I see him going the corporate route when he’s done

the coach delayed naming a starter til right before the first game in hopes shirreffs could heal in time. at least thats the way i read into the situation.
