OT: Etienne Returning to Clemson

People may make fun of Clemson and the "Hay Seeds" in SC. However, the boosters care about the football program. They're not some snooty and elitist piece of sh**s that run around telling everyone they care for the underprivileged. FU** when are people going to start seeing these people like Lemonade and Epstein for what they are worth. Talk about an exclusive club. Diaz Sr is as crooked as any politician on Florida yet people follow this guy like sheep. Shalala, Epstein, Clinton, Lemonis .... There all pieces of sh**

Like I said earlier, no one gives a sh** about UM's academic standing except for the rich entitled brats that went to the school and South Florida. FOOTBALL put this school on the national stage and without it, it will be sh** again. ****, most of the kids in South Florida go to FAU, FIU, and up north. "E before the W". This program is F**k*d.

Because he's proven everything he can do at the college level. His draft status is set. No running back ever leaves a season healthier than he started it. Why risk an injury that can potentially hurt his future draft status.

makes no sense. Kid is ready for the league and isn't going to show anything next year that he hasn't already.

Najee Harris and Alex Leatherwood returned to Bama. How much are these kids getting paid to stay at Clemson and Bama for their senior years. Wilkins and then did it in previous years. We got 7th rounders jumping to the league. ***** terrible man

They must be getting paid to stay. Otherwise this is beyond dumb on their part.

"Is Dabo Swinney handing over the money to Xavier Thomas in 2018? Of course not! He'll set a big board, similar to what NFL teams do prior to the draft, and then send it over to his recruiting guys who send it to the boosters, who then get to work. It works very similar to the Mafia. There is the Boss (Dabo), Underbosses (recruiting coordinators), and soldiers (boosters). They all make the whole thing run smoothly.

I am not sure about the Xavier Thomas situation surrounding his father, although buying a recruit's father's business is a perfect way to transfer the money in a legal way. I've heard of very similar situations to "clean" the money that is being sent to recruits/their families. It's a much more sophisticated process these days. You can't just buy Reggie Bush's grandmother a house anymore. "

Chess not checkers

He’s not getting paid enough to return. The average second rounder makes $3.5 million in guaranteed money. Think that doesn’t count salary.

At the RB position too. Playing with fire by returning. Hopefully Clemson protects him with an insurance policy.

IMO RBs that have NFL ability should playing to get to that 2nd NFL contract as soon as possible. Even if you're a DeeJay Dallas or T. Homer and you're going to be a late round or undrafted FA, you'll get a shot to show what you can do if you're good enough. I don't think RBs should return for their senior seasons unless they're getting a chance to start when they haven't before or if they're just conceding that they're not going to be an NFL guy.

CRAZY... Dude has absolutely zero to prove. Possibly would be the top back in this class. I like that he's not "nfl crazy" and this shows he's passionate but it's a bad decision mainly because of the position he plays.
