Love how Espn is wrong on their research and says Miami hosts FIU first time since brawl 12 years ago.

Well dumb****s....Miami played them in 2007 (Randy Shannon’s first season) at home and beat them 23-9. Always gotta remember Miami for something negative.

Gotta push that Thug U narrative...

Alternatively, I wonder how many kids we really miss out on due to high academic requirements. Stupid thugs (sarcasm).

Can someone’s *** at Espn. You could talk about the brawl but don’t forget to mention they played the next year without incident and Miami won.

Stop. You're making sense. It's far less "sensational" when they talk about us without mentioning brawls, past coaching failures, last season's finish, the loss to LSU, etc... Like I said, it's the narrative and bias against us. I feel like even if we keep winning the most we'll get is acknowledgement that we are winning, but I always expect some kind of stupid jab at our image or past failures. Haters gonna hate, but even they acknowledge that college football is better when we're relevant.

Tony Montana: You need people like me so you can point your ******' fingers and say, 'That's the bad guy.'

Yes, check it out on ESPN. I tweeted them about it lol I don’t have much of a twitter but they should change that crap.

Oh no, I totally believe it. I meant "really, we're getting upset about this?"

People hate Miami, that's a fact. But this is a case of them trying to drum up some interest in a meaningless game. Sure, they're doing it in a way that doesn't look great for us, but it's not about them hating us it's just about money.

I'll save my hate for paul fckbaum and mark may...guys who have actually trashed Miami on TV. ESPN trying to get people interested in watching Miami run a train on FIU isn't worth my time. Or yours.

Oh I totally get what you are saying. I just wanted to point it out that Espn hires writers who obviously don’t know what the **** they are doing. Not gonna make a big deal out of it.

Oh goodie....Andre Ware can bore TV watchers running on about the so called brawl that happened 50 years ago. Glad I'll be at the game and won't have to listen to him & his inept side kick. I wonder if he'll be able to pronounce the players names correctly or figure out who's faking or actually injured before putting his foot in his mouth again on Sat? :stupid:

Nah man they know exactly what they are doing. That's the deeper issue...but you have to look at it as comedy more than actual reporting.

We can’t trot out the turnover chain and then ***** about being called thugs

Embrace it

I was at that game and I think it might be true, but misleading reporting. I want to say that FIU came to the OB but we were technically the visitors(they may have even used the OB all year as I believe that is when their stadium was being rebuilt). So technically we are hosting them for the first time, ya know if we are getting technical about it.

Edit: The only reason I know so much about FIU is I was involved with a latina who attended school there....

ESPN has never shown us much love unless they're trying to hype one of our games in a sorry attempt to get more viewers. The only times I watch that rag is if they're showing one of our games or if they're showing another decent CFB game. Other than that, f**k ESPN.
