OT - Dolphins fire Offensive coordinator

Dolphins problems were all at the beginning of the year, and they were not only on the offensive side of the ball.
Thought the offense was doing well the later half of the season. Rarely had good starting field position.

Not only that but the schemes seemed good. O'Shea came across as positive and likable in every interview. The aspect of isolating receivers and throwing them winnable jump balls was superior than either the Dolphins or Canes application in years. Gesicki has some quirks in his game. He was used to maximize strengths.

I never saw any nonsense like consistently throwing short of the marker on third down, a la Gase.

The only thing I'll say about the offense is that Fitzpatrick senses pressure and takes off so quickly that it's one ad libbed play after another. That perhaps makes the scheme more difficult to evaluate from afar.

Because we scored waaaay more points than we were supposed to. 5-11 is a horrible represention of tanking lol

Probably was dissatisfied w the run game. Not a good thing when Fitzpatrick is your leading rusher. But that wasnt necessarily O'sheas fault.

He’s actually told Bama to fire Saban and he’ll be taking over in a few weeks. All that’s left is the buyout for Saban and the 20 million per year being signed off on by bama bot.

Indeed. The height of selfishness and irresponsibility. They put the needs of the 2019 team over the needs of the franchise.
 
That's odd. I thought the dolphins outperformed everyone's expectations!

SMH. Whhat did they expect they traded just about everyone they had on offense. Starting a career backup at QB. Its.funny how our players in Miami go to another team and do well , both the Canes and the Dolphins. They played justgood.enough to muck up their draft.status.
