if all those guys from Clemson were projected to go before Mcintosh and Norton, wouldn’t them staying in school and not being in this draft class mean Mcintosh and Norton by simple math move up the board ?

I could be wrong but I'm almost positive that draft grades they get back are done based only against seniors. They don't take into account any players leaving early. So in essence any player that leaves early and gets drafted before them would only push their grade even lower not raise their grade.

Wait, wait, let me see if I can understand your brilliant logic. Two Clemson defensive ends stay in school, therefore two Miami defensive tackles will move up in the draft?

That is just GENIUS. Why didn't I think of that? Or why didn't 32 NFL player personnel directors think of that?

Yeah, can you remind me again of how Brad Kaaya's brilliant "I'm going into the draft early because there are so many good QBs NEXT YEAR" logic work out for him?

And, hey, who knows, maybe McIntosh and/or Norton will have stunning workouts at the combine and improve their draft rankings that way. I'm not saying it's impossible that they could go higher, I'm just talking about their current prospects.

I'd love to see both of them get drafted highly. Unfortunately, some idiot agent sold them both a bill of goods.

all I’m saying is if before the Clemson players decided to come back, let’s say there were 20 DTs ranked ahead of McinTosh and Norton. Now the Clemson players ranked ahead of them are coming back , would that not mean there are less DTs ranked ahead of Mcintosh and Norton ? What am I missing ?
