This guy seems to be a lost treasure as far as safeties go. We talk about the iconic Ed Reed and the late great Sean Taylor as we should but this guy imo is definitely top 5 in my era of watching Miami football. I remember reading an article(wish I could find but too long ago) where Jimmy wanted to draft him but was crushed the Bengals took him. This guy would have had a HOF career with the Cowboys or any of the good teams of the 90's
Think the world of DW. But no UM safety is the same caliber as those other 3. The two best safeties ever, and the Thorpe Award winning 2x All American NFL All Pro who is in the CFB Hall of Fame.Let nobody fool you, Darryl Williams was a bad MF'er! Same caliber as Blades, Reed, Taylor etc....
