I was about to smugly laugh at the ignorant fools that would take the possibility of Coley as an NFL OC seriously, then I remembered that Kliff Kingsbury being hired as an actual NFL head coach was a real thing and not a Saturday Night Live skit.

He likely meant HS, not HD. He used to coach at Miami High and a few other schools, before being the OC at Norland. Went with Bowe to LSU and stuck with Saban when he went to the Dolphins. Once you're in the saban tree, you have a job for life as long as you show that you can recruit.

Pretty close, and he's a terrible OC. He'll always be known as a great college recruiter (in the southeast)...take it for what it's worth

smh the elitist on here who THINK they know football bash Coley. He was a great OC. The offense was so much better under Coley then Richt.
 
As an Eagle fan, yes please!!!!! As a Canes fan this will be great cause they will fire Jason next year and throw the world at Lincoln Riley.

Nobody is better than getting his name mentioned then James Coley. There is zero chance he becomes their offensive coordinator.
 
NFL teams are getting desperate. Texas Tech fires their coach and he gets hired to be an NFL coach. Meanwhile James Coley was a WR coach last year (correct me if I’m wrong) and he’s being talked about as an NFL OC
