OT: Coastal Carolina vs App State

Defense is *** and Offense is like Milton at UCF … once the smart/accurate/athletic QB is gone he ends up as a poor man’s Gus Malzahn.

A good/special QB is the staple of almost any contending team. See Clemson and OU with Rattler this year. The perennial top programs look pedestrian with mediocre QBs.

This defense is beyond terrible on top of stupid penalty after stupid penalty by the offense.

They haven’t played anybody with this much talent at wide receiver and they’ve failed to make any adjustments.

True, but App is -1 on turnovers and 0-2 on 4th down, and is still ahead.

CC is solid at the G5/Sun Belt level but would get smacked by a number of P5 teams ranked below them.
