Not sure the year he would have been eligible, but didn't we have a few good players around that time. A Blades brother for one -- could a Michigan who had problems with a coach name Cooper handle Butch and Al Blades, or would he had stayed in bathroom? Sir Reed came along around then also -- would anyone even remember him if Ed was on the field? Okay, I half kid but only half. He sits out a year and then faces competition he had not seen yet. He would go from that other UM to The REAL UM.
