Fuqin sad man SMH I hate seeing this. I started reading it when I got to the Lord I stopped man I couldn't go on. Pray his family recovers from this. RIP

OMG this is crazy!!!

I agree. As far as college WRs this dude was amazing. I remember his EA sports commercials leading up to the draft and i thought he was going to be the next big thing at WR. This is sad AF

I don't really root for any NFL team anymore, only fantasy/gambling/DFS for me, but in my younger years I was a Lions fan and it was solely because of Barry.

And RIP to Chester. He was such a **** animal in East Lansing.
 
His 30 for 30 story would be tough to watch. What a fall from the top..

Hope he found peace before the end. Must see tv when he was playing.

He was working as a day laborer as a car mechanic very recently. Was living in Ft. Myers.

One of the very best collegiate receivers I've ever seen. He was pretty unreal.

The man just had vices and no support system. Just a poor kid from Saginaw.

They talk about him at the rookie symposium as a cautionary tale.

So sad, always was mad my Lions took him over Andre Johnson.

Remember attending a few of his games at MSU and seeing the Smoke (Jeff Smoker) and Fire (Rogers) banners
