OT: Canes Hockey vs FSU

canes hockey will be playing two games against fsu this weekend at pines ice arena, and friday night's game is autism/special needs awareness night. the team will be wearing special uniforms for this game, and some will be auctioned off to benefit the nova cool cats (a team designed specifically for kids with developmental disabilities). if you're free, please come by to catch a game.

the ice hockey club isn't affiliated with the athletic department and is a student-run organization made of regular college kids that want to represent the university in a sport that athletics doesn't offer.

Canes lost to Northwood 10-7 in their last game. High scoring hockey sounds like fun.

there are a lot of kids that could play high-level d2 hockey but didn't want to go to bum**** montana state to play. it's really entertaining. also pines ice arena has a bar attached with a window that you can watch the game from.

i don't. i'm a university employee (and 2x alum) and interact with a lot of students day to day. i also teach.
