Basically the same thing in the 70s...He's from Lehigh Acres...back in the day...areas like Cape Coral and Lehigh didn't have HS's....kids were bused in to NFM...Ft Myers...Riverdale...Cypress Lake and Bishop Verot......I was bused in from Cape Coral too NFM (same HS as Deion...Noel Devine...Warren Williams etc...)

Nobody ONCE in this thread said ANYTHING about him being a superb gameday coach....but of course you...and a few other ***** can only reach up to the inner depths of your *******, and pull out (beside a Load of ****) someones one weakness...completely bypassing all the Greatness of him....My advice is to stick your fingers back up your *** a wee bit further...and drudge out more stupid BS....

I lived in Lehigh for 6 years. Very familiar with the area, the H.S. and everything else around there. That's why i asked. You forgot Kearse who was probably in HS the same time you were.

Blowing games is a "weakness". Maybe that's why they flew the banner and he can't get a P5 job.

The 2 Best FB players in Ft Myers then were RB Johnny Wright (Cypress Lake)...and Taylor Timmons RB Ft Myers....Wright went to USCeast where he was in same backfield as Heisman Winner George Rodgers....Timmons went to UM...but caught a murder rap after his frosh yr....

The dude who was the stud when i was growing up, or the few years before i got to HS, was Jammi German. He was smooth and i remember getting his autograph on my Canes Starter jacket when he came back to Visit FM High. Bishop Verot was a good team back then.

As for Kearse i remember seeing him almost bring out backboards down in the Ft Myers gym on a put back slam. I think the rim still might be swaying back and forth. That dude was someone who just made your jaw drop when you saw how athletic he was. Sucks he was a gata
