Funny how this guy who can build dynasties has somehow gone backwards in his career and for some bizarre reason is gameplanning for Western Kentucky this week.
 
12 full seasons as a head coach......1 season with 10+ wins. The man is about to turn 67 years old and has won 10 games one time.

Last time I checked butch got fired from the Browns I think back in 2004. I didn’t know history changed and now butchs nfl career is akin to Carrol with a super bowl title win. Lol stop living in the past dude, it’s over. Do I wish Paul D and the admin hadn’t tried to ***** butch over which is why he left, of course I do. Is butch a **** of a lot better of a coach then Coker, of course he was and butch would have won it in 2001 as well as that was a team of destiny. But your still not gonna convince me that butch was this great game day coach that was unbeatable because he wasn’t. Did he catch lighting in a bottle yes, would it have be nice to see him play it out and see how long he could have kept the lighting bottled up of course. But that’s not reality. I’m not living in the past and your a fool if you think old man butch who hadn’t been coaching in almost 5 years would have been a better hire at the time then CMR. Fool! Period

Exactly! The way some of these dudes talk about him you’d think he was Saban. News flash to some of these slurpers, great coaches keep winning wherever they go. Prime example urban, Saban and carrol.

Saban was a colossal failure in the NFL...and is the biggest jerk in all of college football.

Well I’d happily take that jerk if it meant we would have the five national titles he won at a Bama in our trophy case instead which would make it 10 for us. Happily! Mic dropped, Conversation over! ✌️

If you would have seen how Hard practices were from 98-2000...you'd NEVER have thought that we were just removed from Debilitating sanctions (I didn't include 95-97 because it was an act of God to even hold practices)....

Amen. Lord knows I had my share of scratched retinas from butch. We HATED each other on that practice field if you were on the opposite side of the ball. But the second we were off of it we were all close as ****. Didnt mean we wouldnt get at it at times but that's just cause we were all so competitive. Practices since have been a pansy joke. Again not the players fault. But the game in itself is just different now. The game has turned into physical flag football & if I dont like someone well I'll just transfer than. Heaven forbid we work it out.

Thank you for setting it straight. Not only are the practices a pansy joke...some of these softies in here are worse than that.
Seems like myself, @Cane Dynasty, and @caneinorlando were the ones kickin knowledge.

Tried telling them Dee...but of course I was ridculed....I'll take a Butch Coached team & HIS staff at full schollie limits at UM in yr 3 the past 10yrs...over this Mess now...Hands Down...

I don't worship butch, but I know a great coach when I see one. He might have his shortcomings, but so does every coach.
