They have the same number of national titles, and only one of them got fired with a .407 NFL winning percentage.

On a similar note, only one of them coaches in Power 5 football today.

Despite beating the Number 1/2 ranked football teams during the 2000 season and losing only 1 game, the BCS computer model (which chose the two finalist for the NCAA college football season) chose FSU ahead of University of Miami to play in the National Championship game. The BCS computer model was solely based on Washington Huskies final ranking and amount of loss point differential despite Miami beating FSU. Most college football pundits felt the BCS model was wrong since in head to head meeting Miami beat FSU.

You insect brain version differs from the Wiki reality version. Which should be believed?

What has Butch Davis accomplished that Richt hasn't? At least Richt had shown he can deliver a consistent top 10 team, Butch hasn't ever proven to be more than a flash in the pan who blew it with the '01 team, failed in the NFL, and unable to get another good gig in football. Get the f over it.

I met a gas station attendant who had talked to saban several times, would love to make $4 million a year, and wants NCs. Maybe we should hire him.
