Bronco Mendenhall is turning Virginia into a contender and Justin Fuentes is still going to do a good enough job at Virginia Tech. Both are quality coaches and those will be good-enough ACC programs. North Carolina will get a little bit better under Mack Brown, as well—and Geoff Collins was a good pick up for Georgia Tech, getting them away from Paul Johnson's lame-*** triple-option.
There's a lot more parity in today's game than in the past. To just think Miami should win the division every year because "we're Miami"—the work still needs to be put in. The Coastal has always been notoriously weaker—yet the Canes are still 1-of-15 in division titles for a reason. Even when it looks good on paper, the games still need to get played.
