OT: Bryant Shirreffs having a career year for UCONN

We talked to his Mom a the GT game. She & their father alternate going to which game. Really nice people.
 
Kid can play, saw him live when I was a ballboy for an opposing college that played them a couple years back. Got me thinking how Evan could be with better athletes at Miami around him.
 
the few times I have watched him he threw interceptions and UCONN is craptastic..
they also play awful competition.

I'd guess Evan will have graduated by next fall, wouldn't be a terrible move for him. I think we'd be fine with Rosier/Perry/Weldon/Freshman/Maybe Eason.

Said this way back in the spring before Allison bolted. I figured he would go ahead and transfer to get a leg up on the playbook etc. but I think Allison transferring kept him here.

Man after seeing Rosier success I hope Evan stays. Keep these James Coley QBs at all cost. For some reason they all seem to pan out no matter the star or limitation. Rosier and Shirreffs were neck and neck and based on how good Rosier has been (even with some saying he may be more athletic/accurate then Rosier) I believe Evans will be able play at this level. We're gonna need that 1 or 2 years of eligibility that Evans will have after Rosier is gone especially when Richt bringing suspect guys like Sits here.

They may have been close in practice but rosier has that dog in him when it comes to closing a game with ice in his veins

Not a knock on sheriffs but that’s a super rare trait
 
hope evan sticks around. if he was truly neck & neck with rosier, i feel much more comfortable having him here as our backup.
