Maybe I'm crazy but this feels like a lethal combo. Good on Oklahoma for putting it together if it happens this way. They'll have some success for the next few years before they go to the SEC.

I dont give ash-t bout any team in the acc other than um. They all can go 0-12 and I would do the manny slip n slide.

I dont know why yall care about conference prestige at all

Yall don't realize why they pride the sec conference prestige?.

Because every year there is always only 1 elite team a good one n the rest are average to below average with hype. **** near the whole conference is typically off the backs of Bama, Lsu, or a Uf. That sec sec chant have convinced folks that ole miss , miss state are real programs lol

Georgia hasn't won anything in my football watching life.

He’s a Bob Stoops disciple & was there for 12 years before he went to Clemson, but this is basically Oklahoma’s version of going “all Miami bro!”.

The logic is, since they’re going to the SEC that they’ll need a more Defensive minded HC & due to his time at Clemson is a good recruiter in the South.

However, this is a sign that Oklahoma as a program isn’t as highly thought of as imagined, they should be able to land a big time HC, settling for a DC signifies they’re not trying to spend a lot of money & they’re expecting to be a mid-level team in the SEC.

They’re basically trading in the Ferrari for a Ford Fusion sedan.

Dee has he ever been offered an opportunity as Oklahoma?? That is a big time first time HC gig. It might be a little of both crap going down in Clemson but if you are going to jump that’s team has talent and needed a good D mind. I agree with you he will do well especially if that’s his OC.

I know he was offered Texas,ole miss,and SC. Ou is definitely a big gig because everything is lined up for him. His defensive mind is necessary in sec but it's gonna take some growing pains.

It’s probably the difference between Cinci barely getting in the playoffs rather than a shoe in. Strength of schedule matters.
