Lehairline is the worst. Most over rated athlete ever.

You might not like the guy for whatever reason, but most over rated athlete ever? C'mon man!! That's a ridiculously absurd statement!

Not really. Guy is made out to be better then mj, magic, bird. Yet he cant win crap. It took him joining a super team to win a ring. No other top nba player ever has been more over hyped.

It took being on a team with 4 future hall of fame players for him to win anything. And one of the rings he won was because a lucky ray allen 3 pointer. Very much over rated.

Every great NBA player has played alongside hall of famers, see below. Lebron has won plenty, including two NBA championships for our Miami Heat. Your personal dislike for Lebron has completely clouded over any objective ability to analyze his play on the court; he is a top 10 all time player currently.

Bird played with, at some point in his career, the following hall of famers: McHale, Parish, Dennis Johnson, Bill Walton, Tiny Archibald and Dave Cowens.

Magic Johnson played with, at some point in his career, the following hall of famers: Kareem, Worthy, Jamaal Wilkes, Bob Mcadoo, and Spencer Haywood.

Jordan played with, at some point in his career, the following hall of famers: Pippen, Rodman, Artis Gilmore, George Gervin and Robert Parish.

Please enlighten me to where magic, bird, or mj jumped to super teams from the teams that drafted them? I will wait for your response.

He has won plenty? Hahaha laughable. How many championships has he lost? He was also involved in the most lopsided finals of all time. THE KING got beat like a drum by a bunch of old guys.

Why would they have jumped? MJ, Magic and Bird were either (1) drafted by teams with hall of famers already on the roster or (2) the hall famers were brought to them. Lebron in Cleveland had neither. So it is the same result at the end of the day: all great players were surrounded by other great players. But for some reason you have a blinding hatred for Lebron so you will continue to make arbitrary rules for judging him so as to diminish him.

Yes, he has won plenty. Two titles is more titles more than 99.9999% of players that have ever played in the NBA. The Spurs are a bunch of old guys? That simply exposes a lack of understanding about the NBA and the Spurs.

Funny you mentioned three guys who played 95% of their careers at 1 destination elevating their supporting cast instead of trying to manipulate their rosters and coaching staff. Also none of which came into the league calling themselves the kings before they'd ever done ****. Lebrons Nike contracts will be his greatest legacy.

Lebron will never win another title in his career and his decision to leave the Heat will go down as one of the worst career choices in sports history.

Thanks for those 4 seasons though. It was fun.

Again, the teams they were drafted on already had or would soon have supporting casts that were made up of multiple NBA Hall of Famers so not sure how much elevating needed to be done...

You do know that Magic Johnson had the then Lakers head coach Paul Westhead fired in 1980, right? Or that MJ exerted influence over roster management on the Bulls? Lebron has done nothing that many, many other superstar players in all sports, not just the NBA, have done but I guess people must have a reason to hate him. Keep on moving those goalposts...

Lebron's ability to play the game of basketball (pass, rebound, score, defend, etc...) is top 10 of all time.

This will make the "Kings" demise even more fun to watch. He's run out of excuses now, this is his 2nd handpicked team and now his handpicked coach. This AAU mentality of trying to build superteams who have 0 chemistry has run it's course and i'm glad he didn't take what's left to love of basketball and ruin it. Now if we can only rewind to good ole days of no blood no foul where handchecks keep these primadonnas from flopping all over the place like dead fish.

This garbage doesn't belong on a Canes board.

Clearly he isn't overrated if his teams play in the finals every year because of primarily him being there.

Unfortunately for Lebron it takes 12 players to make a team, not 1, not 3. There's a reason people from all levels are decrying the Blatt firing it's because players like Lebron, Cousins, and DHoward are eroding what little is left to respect about the NBA. Nobody wants to see barely high school educated athletes holding fanbases and front offices hostage with their antics and crying to refs after every possession.

The overrated is not about the fact that he is a great player. He is arguably the best in the league currently. He is overrated, because of all the hype before he was even drafted. The guy was crowned as better than MJ and others before earning it, and at this point he has not surpassed any of them. Keep in mind how weak the East has been the entire time Lebron has been in it. In the last 7-8 years, the Bulls at their peak and the Celtics just before the age caught up to them are the only legitimate challenges he's had in the East which is why he keep losing against better competition in the finals. Another note is how soft the NBA has gotten. Lebron is physical build and athleticism to handle the old days, but his numbers would be down.

Im a spurs fan. I was stating what every nba fan has said for 5 years or more.

Lebron is not overrated because of his ability. He is overrated because he is hyped up like hes mj. He isnt even the best player in the nba right now.

My grandmother would make the finals in the eastern conference

well why she aint there...

Been hearing it for awhile...but the best from the east only has to go against one team in the west...it dont matter..as bad as the cavs are....only two teams in the west can likely go at them in a series and thats warriors-spurs...the rest they walk.

people watch the NFL every Sunday and appreciate Calvin Johnson. They don't compare him to Jerry. If everyone took the same approach with Bron and stopped comparing to Mike they would see his greatness.

Porzingis

Lmao! To quote Banks, "I'm from New York but never been a fan of the Knicks"....they sold their soul for melo. Worst thing they could have done. I went to SU when melo was there. Jimmy is up there with Roy when it comes to wasting talent. Roy runs the same offense no matter what. And Jimmy never adjusts out of the zone. There's a reason SU players never pan out. And there's a reason Roy gets top 10 recruits to come back for soph and jr seasons.

Clippers and okc could beat the cavs in a 7 game series.
