Did we recruit any of these guys. I recall some chatter about Flowers. Don’t remember the other names. Any of them any good?

People were clamoring for a Flowers offer because his tape was silly & he played for a good school, but no we didn't offer. He was just as good a DB as receiver in high school

The rest we didn't scout at all

Keshawn King we did in the 2019 class because he was a Oakleaf kid & we had had success getting kids out of that region with Shaq Q & Mike Pinckney.

But we ended up not taking King because we took Asa Martin as a transfer in the 2019 class & already had taken 2 RB’s in the 2018 class before.

VT didn’t pull any South FL kids. Don’t know if they ever have, to be honest none come to mind, if so it’s a low ranked recruit.

I was going to speak on that, and spot on. That’s exactly what happened, as I recalled.

Btw, was not a fan of the Martin portal pick up, either.

Interesting the difference in HS...
 
Idk what happened to the Virginia Tech I grew up being afraid of, but these dudes SUCK besides Burmeister
 
If I was an OC I would just get in jumbo formation with linemen at both TE spots & run it on VT all day. They are tiny up front

VT in their orange jerseys & white pants....trying to look like the Canes? What happened to their gawd awful maroon colors? LOL
