OT: ASU hires Herm Edwards, announces new bizarre structure

there in the pac 12....they should be able to get wins with good ole herm this year.

Expect a recruiting bump n this years class. They'll be ok....Herm will be there for about 4 years.

Maybe it’s the fact that he hasn’t coached a college game in 25 years.

Or that his agent (or I guess ex-agent) is the AD. Yes, you read that right. His agent is the athletic director. Wut.

Or that in his first press conference he didn’t know the school’s mascot. As in the the Sun Devils. No idea. For a job he was hired for.

Or that they created a crazy PowerPoint org chart corporate doublespeak structure that no one actually understands to explain their “new innovative NFL approach” to running a college program

Or that both offensive and defensive coordinators quit within days after he was hired.

Or that he basically doesn’t sound like he knows what he’s talking about in press conferences.

He might stumble to a few wins this year, I’ll grant you. Maybe 3 or 4. But talent is not going to want to want to sign up for this shlt show.

I guarantee he won’t last 4 years. He won’t last 2. Might not make through 1.

A few months ago, yes. Obviously I’m guessing they were replaced. The whole thing is a real shlt show. There’s no other school that would have hired this guy. No P5 school anyway. FAU wouldn’t hire this guy. FIU might not even hire him, although with Pete Garcia anything’s possible.

If they were going to throw the dice with this guy a much better bet would have been Lame Kitten. About a 1,000 times better hire. And I’m not necessarily a big Lame fan, either.

Bump our fans laughed at this but we would be in a much better spot with herm edwards. lets remember this when we have a coaching search. There were alot of ppl all in on diaz including pete ariz.
