Probably a reach.... but

Does anybody play Dark Souls and would like to engage in some jolly cooperation? Let me know.

Oh you know it. Ps4 guy mainly but finished GOW, RDR2 and spiderman. Those were all great games. Played Destiny and Destiny 2 for years and years with a lot of my Canes friends too. My favorite franchise of ALL time though are the Zelda series. Have played every major platform release since the original on the NES. So by default that means I have to buy the newest Nintendo system just for essentially one game. (I love Metroid series too and was ****ed when they just announced they would scrap metroid prime 4 and start again. But it's not a bad move because when nintendo gave the series to team ninja with other M, It was brutal)

And just last night I started playing some Anthem (demo) with guys from the squad and I enjoyed it. I will definitely cop that because I thought the third person fight style with the seamless transition into flying like iron man was brilliant. If i get 60-100 hours out of that game I will be happy.

Me and the little lady have Saturday Night Submarine Races.

I also throw in some motorboating . . .

I bought the game thinking it would be easy I need xanxax every time I die ... first Nintendo “console” I bought asisde from ds and gameboy handhelds.
 
Been playing a lot of Assassins Creed Odyssey and Black Ops 4, solely for the Blackout mode.

Absolutely. The question is where to start and end.

For me it starts and ends with Awakening. I sunk 100s of hours in that game over multiple playthroughs. The tactical combat is great. The UI is mostly great. Most of the characters are interesting, the story is good and the dialogue is often clever and fun. Reclassing, master classing, item choices, choosing pair up partners and parents adds a lot of depth and long-term planning to the game. There are plenty of guides that min/max those decisions but it's fun to brainstorm by yourself or do it spontaneously.

Awakening was so good that I bought all the different copies of Fates on release but just couldn't enjoy it. Some of the weapon changes were good but they nerfed pair ups really hard and took away the easy XP farming maps so you always have to grind to level up certain characters. The game was just generally worse. The characters sucked, the dialogue sucked, the story sucked and some of the maps were so bad it pains me just to think about them. One of the editions (Birthright?) was way too easy and the other (Conquest?) was way too tedious. The new modes that were added were boring as well. Fates felt like a cash grab.

I'm optimistic for the Switch release but they haven't revealed much about it yet.
