Its a bit complicated. You're right, you need a bios dump of a ps2 system. But also, you need to 'tune' the emulator to play the right settings for the right game.

A ps2 emulator also is super resource intensive, because essentially, you're running a virtual machine.

Honestly, its more hassle than its worth. I kinda wish I can just hack my ps3 and use the ps2 on board emulation to play iso files.

It might be something I might try to do in the future, lol

I wish PS4 had another racing simulator besides Gran Turismo. I've been a GT nut since the original on PS1 ( I missed so much class in college because of weed and that game). I was disappointed that the newest version for PS4 was so stripped down and primarily focused on online head to head races. Compiling a ridiculous garage full of race cars was one of the coolest things about the series and they really dropped the ball with the current edition.

GT has been long surpassed by Forza. If you're a racing game fan I would dare say Forza Horizon 4 is alone worth the price of an Xbox One especially with black Friday around the corner. Nevermind the other 6 Forza games available for Xbox One. This coming from someone who has enjoyed GT since the very first one. GT Sport isn't a bad game but it's like playing Pole Position compared to FH4.

I've heard that but I'm not buying an Xbox just for one game.

I feel you but ppl make time for hobbies and things they enjoy.

On those NCAA football videos I posted, someone else made the rosters but I had to edit all the records, schedules, unis, and recruits for muni dynasty in an editor myself.
 
This is why you have to game. Miami Hurricanes have always been my first hobby. But I can’t control what the HC does.

So I game.

Yes! Gaming can be a great outlet. Except for when you get trash teammates or rage at cheesy AI cause then it just gets worse.

lol. That is what I read. Any website or resource you recommend so I could check it out lol? I have a few games I really want to start playing lol. Like the NFL/NBA street series among a few others lol.

Man if you don’t be just go get a current gen console. The next gen consoles won’t come for about another 2-3 years. Stop wasting your time with old gen. It’s great for nostalgia reasons but old games don’t age well. The power that the pro and One X puts out blows the 3 and 360 out of the water.

Even though I have a 4, if you want more then just gaming, get a One. It’s like an all in one entertainment system.

Been playing since I was like 4 or 5. Played sports, run a family business now and still make time for wife and kid and all of my family and time for here as well.

To the real point though.

Former COD pro, had sponsors and the whole works back then, still play cod now but not for money anymore. First person shooters always been my niche.

Used to play halo way back, considering getting a Xbox one in the future to play again. I’m on PS4.

GTA, COD, Destiny, Fortnite, Final Fantasy(played almost all of them, even the online one too now.), Mortal Kombat, Metal Gear Madden, NBA 2k, Fifa, Dragonball FighterZ, The Sims 4 etc.

For people asking, new spider man game on PS4 is very good, highly recommend it. Not a fan of superhero games but this one delivers.

For others wondering about Kingdom Hearts like @OBLIVION , it’s worth it. Great game, played the originals on the PS2. Have them remastered on PS4.

I’ll probably download Red Dead Redemption 2 this weekend.

Still got the Xbox 360 to play NCAA.

Yah b. I think I am about to. I have the 3 right now, but im thinking about copping a 4. Some of the new games look dope af.

When I was going back to look at the list of two-disc games, one that was very high on my personal favorite list was Resident Evil 2. Amazingly, it turns out the developers re-mastered the game for current gen consoles with a target release of January 2019. Needless to say I will be making time to play that.

Gran Turismo was the ****. I had the driving steering wheel and pedals as a jit lol
 
I use to waste a lot of time playing Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. I knew it was good when my bro n law got hooked. He's about 25 years older then me and never owned a system until then.
