OT: Adidas Ultra Boost

Rare to find such good discounts on Ultra Boosts. At least it used to be rare a couple years ago when I was deeper in the sneaker game.
those are last years model. if you can find them at all you should be able to get them at a discount. I guess they don't put one out for their schools each year. i noticed washington for example has the new boosts this season.

Do people even use the Boosts for actually running, or are they just intended for fashion? Only discussion I ever see about them is based on their looks, etc., not performance as an actual running shoe. Agree on the Saucony Kinvara. I use Kinvara 9's and Altra Duos for running.

Them Kinvaras are stupid comfortable, man. Sheesh.

When they originally put out boost it was for running and mainly targeted that way, but then adidas decided to start focusing on more of the fashion route and they started selling them for that.

They have really stepped up their fashion game, but that being said, Miami colors on shoes are hideous :ROFLMAO:

No. Boost are crap running shoes. Way too heavy and way too expensive. Kinerva's are awesome. also look into New Balance Beacon. Very light and smooth.

Ill be honest, they are comfortable af, but they are not the most comfortable shoe I ever stepped in. People are gassing them up like they are the greatest shoe of all time. I never tried the SAucaony or NB 990v5, but the nike reacts I agree are more comfortable. I got the Miami themed boost 4.0s. Had to pick them up to rock on game day. I stopped wearing them though when the new ones came out, but I still break them out on Sats.
OG, is there a newer Ultraboost after the 4.0 in the Canes colorway? Is it a 5.0? Are they more plush?

I had a couple pairs of Ultraboosts from a few years ago. They were comfortable for a few miles then lost their cushion pretty quickly. Never got any after that because they wore out too quickly for $180.

I've worn them for running and I find them comfortable. But I've previously ran in training shoes. There's a little breaking in period for me on the side of my right foot that is uncomfortable.

To be honest family .... We should be the forefront in college sports for Adidas mannn. I'm happy we made the transition because Nike didn't show us any love and loyalty but I expect more from our deal . They have done great so far but there is always ways for improvement.

We just have to do better in our marketing, designs, products and in our branding.

Here's a list I would like to see us move in the direction with #TNM

*License this #TNM and the turnover chain please (Too many copy cats if we was thinking outside the norm the Univ would have been getting paid big time!)
*5 New Alt Jerseys Every Season ( Have former players chime in, have a well known creative designer input some stuff, innovative but keep it simple)
*Countless shoe colorways for fans
*More apparel
*More commercials (Sec country with Nike commercials is getting flooded on my TV screen when watching college football on Sat nights sick of it)
*Better Social Media Outlets
*A freaking Billboard on 95 saying (Stay and make your Crib gr8 like the OG'S in 88')
*Yeezy Cleats ...Why don't we have them? Smdh (It's not like they don't make them. Recruits would love that!)
*Adidas/Canes Pop Up Parties in different Cities. (Marketing and branding 101)

We have to stay in the game no longer can say "WE ARE MIAMI IT'S GOING TO SELL IN ITSELF".- That mentality leaves dust on the shelves.

No matter the record people across the U.S. want to see us play whether its hate or love our way.

What would you all like to see moving forward in the future just branding and marketing alone fellas?

GO CANES !

Its called the Ultraboost 19. They don't have a cane colorway yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they make one.

Its hard to explain, they aren't that much more plushy, but the heel is a lot more "squishy". Basically you feel WAY less impact when you are walking/running around. I don't wear them to run, but just walk around and since I am in the city I walk around a lot. I do rotate my sneakers a lot, but I have put way more than a few miles on them and they are still good to go.

If you are running in them I am not sure how long they would last though. I run in Brooks, which are pretty much the nerdiest sneaker I have ever seen, but they are actually great. I went to some place that did gait analysis and they recommended it for me. I have had them for about 3 months. about 150 miles later and they still feel like new.

I personally think 5 alt jerseys per season is asking far too much. I know we had all this talk about being Oregon for Adidas...but that's far too much to have per year. 1 or 2, sure. 5 alt jerseys a year means we're wearing something non-traditional for HALF the season. Our main uniforms with Adidas right now are awesome. No need to switch it up that much.

*Yeezy Cleats ...Why don't we have them? Smdh (It's not like they don't make them. Recruits would love that!)
I think they've had them available to wear, I just don't think any of our guys have yet. We did wear the Ultraboost cleats against Pitt last year, that much I know - and they looked great. Most of the WRs were wearing them.

I'm not really on board w/the Yeezy cleats because they honestly don't look good. Also, forget Yeezy...he ain't Miami. I'd rather have Miami-themed Ultraboost cleats or something else custom for Miami in particular.

Stock X is legit, they just got hacked so that's why we say use a dummy account. Stock X itself is a good site though.

My son plays high basketball and i got him the miami hurricanes Adidas Pro Bounce Low basketball shoes. He loves it and swears it as the most comfortable playing shoes he has worn.

My son plays baseball and has for years used New Balance cleats, but recently I got him a pair of Adidas Adizero Afterburner cleats and he really likes them..and they were cheaper than the NBs.
