What else this run and top 4 ACC finish should mean is that next year the Canes should get one of the marquee Big10 teams as an opponent and not get stuck with a lackluster nonCon of either Rutgers, Penn St or Northwestern.
If Miami were to get the Big10 no. 3 from this year then that would be Purdue a traditional basketball power. Though any from Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Purdue and Ohio St would be welcome since in other happier times Miami has gotten to face Illinois and Michigan St.
Anyhow should be an exciting non-Conference on the schedule next season. Go Canes!
