OT about SEC BIAS

UGA is in trouble with their post receiver getting suspended and Cager being hurt. To address the point, teams have off days and when you play a schedule like UGA you sometimes play poorly one game. South Carolina would probably win the coastal.
:snoopfacepalm:

Would you rank Utah over UGA? The Utes lost badly at USCw. The Trojans are currently ranked at 24. Big Deal.

The SEC and PAC12 title games will sort all this out. If LSU beats UGA the Dawgs are out of contention. Utah should beat the Oregon Cristobals.

I am no fan of Georgia, but they have an insanely talented defense. Fast, aggressive, and competent, like ours used to be. Plenty of depth too. So they deserve the 4-spot, despite their loss to South Carolina. If they play inspired, and Kirby Smart doesn't crap the bed, they are good enough to shut down the offenses of the teams ahead of them and make a run at the title. Plain and simple.

As for Florida, I believe they played their worst game of the year against us. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. Not to mention the fact that they had their best quarterback - Trask - on the bench in favor of Franks. If we played them now, with Trask as their starter, I don't know if we would be able to keep it within three touchdowns. I don't see Florida as a great team this year, but they are certainly a decent top 10 team capable of giving the teams ahead of them a scare.

Ohio State is the most complete team in the country this year. I've got Clemson and LSU tied at no. 2 behind them. Clemson's got the better defense, but LSU has the senior quarterback in the middle of a career year. Should be a fun postseason.
after Clemson curb stomps it’s way through the playoffs, who will be the most complete team? Clemson’s defense is better than Ohio states. Clemson’s skill position players are better than Ohio states. Clemson’s special teams are better than Ohio states. I’ll guess we’ll have to wait and see if this team on a 30 game winning streak, that’s won two of the last three national championships is good 🤦‍♂️ Their quarterback would be the first pick in this years and will be the first pick in next years draft. FWIW

Georgia has 1 one loss....to unranked USCe and is number 4 in the country

Clemson is undefeated, killed USCe yesterday and is number 3 with most in the media overlooking them. If the SEC is so much better than the ACC then how does Clemson whoop USCe who beat the 2nd highest ranked SEC team? How does a crap 6-6 Miami team lose by 4 to the number 7 team in the country Florida (SEC).

The bias is absurd at this point for the SEC.

Even the NFL thinks the best college football conference is the SEC. Right now their quality teams are head and shoulders above the top quality in the ACC.

Good teams have bad games, even great ones do too. Look no further than the 2001 Canes. (BC VA Tech)

I can’t understand why you guys have such hate for a conference that has no affect on the Canes, outside of recruiting.

I’m a huge college fan and I enjoy watching SEC games. The ACC is a terrible football conference in every aspect of the college experience.

Just look at the SEC title game vs the ACC title game. Clemson consistently has the easiest path to the playoffs.

Georgia rated higher than LSU in preseason yet now a full touchdown postseason underdog. Very interesting. Everything tends to drift back to the beginning.

because we have staff on this site saying USCe would win the coastal....

A lot of fans are jealous of the $EC hype. They hate seeing 80K in the stands every game, week in and week out, at programs willing to spend money on coaches, weight rooms, and play the bag game. A few years ago Bama broke ground on a multi-million dollar upgrade and expansion project before the technicality of getting their BOT approval. Miami needed years of fundraising and handwringing to finally construct an indoor practice facility.
